I loved loved loved this book I can’t say it enough. It kept me wanting more plus it was a quick read which is my favorite.

This book highlights the fact that at times, humans can be the most frightening beings around.

Jules recently lost her job, lost her boyfriend, and is crashing on her best friend’s couch. While job searching she comes across a job too good to pass up.

So she goes for the interview, this job which pays 12 grand for 3 months, seemed odd but she took the opportunity. Only to find out people started to go missing from these apartment-sitting jobs. Her new friend Ingrid starts to figure it out and warns Jules that something is not right.

Jules starts to investigate what is going on at the Bartholomew, but it’s too late. She figures out exactly what is happening after she becomes one of the helpless people who they prey upon.

I never imagined I would enjoy reading a book about a cult, but this book was incredibly captivating.

I had to rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I can’t wait to read other books by Riley Sager.
